History

Wellow Golf Course is owned by the Windell family, who previously farmed the land since 1966, and are all still actively involved in the running of the Club.

Wilf Wiltshire, well-known local course designer and Professional, designed the original 18 holes in 1990 and a further 9 holes were added in 1995.

John Jacobs opened the Clubhouse in 1992 and remains a good friend and Vice-President, to the Club.
